Ingredients:
1 1/2 POUND LOAF
3/4 cup mashed canned pears
1/4 cup water
20 ml honey
1   egg
3 cup bread flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
2 POUND LOAF
1 cup mashed canned pears
1/3 cup water
4 tsp honey
1   egg
4 cup bread flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
Method:
Select the loaf size. Add the ingredients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions. Select the basic white bread cycle.

NOTES : Made 7-16-01. Good! 2# loaf. I made these additions and/or changes. I chopped approximately 1 3/4 fresh pears into cubes into bottom of pan and only used 1/4 cup water. At the beep, I added 1 tsp. cinnamon and 2 Tblsp. candied ginger. Next time would use more cinnamon, only because I love cinnamon. Smelled heavenly while baking, and tasted better.

Makes great toast!
