Yield:
Ingredients:
 
1 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup (approximately) Milk
Method:
Sift dry ingredients together and slowly stir in the milk to make a batter thick enough to take up by rounded spoonfuls; use either a tablespoon measure or a soup spoon. Bring meat cooking liquid to a boil; the liquid should just barely cover the solid ingredients so that the dumplings sit on them. Drop in formed dumplings and cook uncovered for 10 minutes, then cover and cook for 10 minutes longer. Do not remove lid for last 10 minutes.



This recipes yields enough dumplings for 4 to 6 servings.
