Afghan Squash (Winter) - print recipe
 
   
 
Yield:
Ingredients:
 
1/2 cup sliced onion
40 ml olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1   butternut squash peeled and cubed
    (about 3 cups)
Method:
Saute onion in olive oil in a small casserole.



Stir in salt, cumin, coriander, cardamom, and cloves.



Add squash and 1 cup water.



Cook until tender.



Serves 8
