Ingredients:
 
0.5 kg pepitas, (pumpkin seed kernel
60 ml lime juice
60 ml soy sauce
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme
360 g whole wheat type Chex cereal
    salt & cayenne pepper to taste
    cooking spray
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 F. In a large mixing bowl or pot, combine pepitas, lime juice, soy sauce, and cumin. Toss to coat evenly. Add cereal and toss again.



Spread mixture out on a nonstick baking sheet. Spray lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt and cayenne, if desired. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until toasty and lightly browned.
