Ingredients:
 
0.5 kg baby carrots
40 ml butter
40 ml honey
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp salt
Method:
Place the carrots in a medium saucepan. Add enough water to cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-high, cover, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired tenderness; drain well.



In the saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients; mix well.



Return the carrots to the saucepan and toss until mixed well and heated through. Serve immediately.



This recipe yields 4 servings.



Serving size: 1/2 cup.
