| Method: |
This time I used half a bag of cranberries, 3/4 cup of sugar, 4 tablespoons applesauce and water to just cover - cook for a couple of minutes in a saucepan. Let cool. Add juice of 2 lemons. Freeze in ice cream maker per instructions. This was pretty sweet, just barely tart.
It freezes hard so either use it right away or chop off chunks to serve.
